Heart of Florida Health Center (HFHC), the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Marion County, for the third year has been recognized as one of forty-six awardees in the state of Florida.
This one-time grant provides recognition and support for health centers that displayed high levels of quality performance in Calendar Year 2015 Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting and health centers with one or more sites with continued patient centered medical home recognition (PCMH). HFHC is Level III PCMH status awarded from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
“These grant funds will enable Heart of Florida Health Center to support continuing education and training for our providers,” said, Rich Mutarelli, CEO.
“We continue to stay on par or better than state and national averages for most clinical measures, even with our tremendous growth in the last few years,” said David Willis, M.D., Chief Medical Officer.
